Rich Rubin’s one-act drama GOOD AS GOLD will be broadcast on Australian radio, Keppel FM 91.3 (Queensland), on Thursday, October 19, and Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Congratulations to Rich Rubin, whose full-length drama POWER OF BABEL was selected as a finalist for the 2024 Portland Civic Theatre Guild New Play Award.
Rich Rubin’s comedy-drama KAFKA’S JOKE, which premiered in March at Desert Ensemble Theatre (Palm Springs, CA), received 13 award nominations by the Desert Theatre League, including Outstanding Production!
KAFKA’S JOKE was selected as the Best Play of the 2023 season by Broadway World (Palm Springs). In addition, the play received awards for Best Director (Jerome Elliott Moskowitz), Best Performer (John Corr, a 2016 graduate of the Portland Actors Conservatory), Best Supporting Performer (Larry Dyekman ), and Best Ensemble.
Rich Rubin awards keep rollin’ in! This time it’s for his feature-length screenplay, COSTA REHAB, which was selected as Best Comedy Script at the 2023 Chicago Indie Film Awards.
Rich Rubin’s feature-length screenplay SCENE OF THE CRIME was selected as one of ten finalists in the 2022-2023 UK Film Festival feature-length script competition.
Rubin’s short comedy WILL’S DRAMATURG received a production by the South Otago Theatrical Society in South Otago, New Zealand, April 14-23, 2023, as well as a production at Remarkable Theatre in Queenstown, New Zealand, May 4-7.
