A monologue from Rich Rubin’s comic RUSSIAN TROLL was selected by Smith & Kraus for their upcoming anthology Best Men’s Monologues 2022.


KAFKA’S JOKE, a full-length comedy-drama by Rich Rubin, received a special award from the Jewish Theatre of Warsaw, as part of the 2021 Szymon Szurmiej Contemporary Jewish Drama International Competition.

Dean Productions produced a podcast version of Rich Rubin’s comedy SHAKESPEARE’S SKULL with an all-female cast.
This full-length play was the winner of the 2019 Portland Civic Theatre Guild New Play Award. The two-performance reading in January 2019 at Portland’s Sanctuary Theatre was directed by Matt Pavik.
